Sir's Name

Sir’s Name is a heartwarming children’s story about identity, confidence, and the meaning carried in something as simple and as important as a name. Sir has a short and uncommon name, and as he moves through school, family, and everyday experiences, he learns to proudly explain it, stand tall in who he is, and appreciate the stories behind the names of others. Written for young readers in kindergarten through second grade, Sir’s Name encourages children to celebrate what makes them unique while showing kindness and respect toward others. The book also includes an educational activity section where children can explore the letters and syllables in their names, learn about their family name stories, and create their own name inspired designs. Every name has a story. Every child deserves to be proud of theirs.
